Saudi Arabia witnessed, today, Nov. 17, 2021, the launch of the first production phase of Masdar Solar, the largest solar panel factory in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in Tabuk Industrial City, over an area of 27,000 square meters (sqm), with investments of up to SAR 700 million and total production capacity of nearly 1.2 gigawatts (GW).

This is also one of the Kingdom's advanced factories in the field of automation, with full automatic production lines.

The presence of Masdar Solar in Tabuk region has a strategic dimension, especially with its proximity to major projects such as NEOM and the Red Sea, in addition to the availability of qualified national human resources.
