Bin Omairah Contracting Company signs a Contract with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for the construction of Howtah Bani Tammim 132/13.8 Kv GIS Substation (S/S# 8720) on EPC basis.


The Project involves the construction of a new indoor 132/13.8kV Gas Insulated Substation in Howtah Bani Tammim, Al Kharj area, Central region of Saudi Arabia on EPC basis from system, design & engineering, to manufacturing, FAT, supply and delivery, installation, testing & commissioning, along with all associated modification works at the remote end substations till put the new S/S# 8720 into service.


The new S/S# 8720 shall be equipped with standards-based technically and economically optimized Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the SEC’s Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA and Communication.
