Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has announced the tender results for the construction of the 380kV double-circuit overhead transmission line between the existing Yanbu City (YCNT) 380/110kV BSP and the existing Umluj North (UMN) 380/132kV BSP (circuits 1 and 2). A joint venture involving Bin Omairah submitted a bid for the project.
The project involves the design and construction of a 380kV double-circuit overhead transmission line, together with two OPGW lines, on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, connecting the two BSPs over an approximate route length of 185 km.
